Confirmation Preparation (2026-2027)

This is a fully in-person program requiring a total of 18 sessions. Candidates must be entering at least the 9th grade and have already received the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and First Eucharist. Candidates must have successfully completed 7th and 8th grade in a Catholic school, a Catholic homeschool program, or a parish Religious Education program prior to entering.

Program Requirements (Confirmation Itinerary):

To successfully complete the preparation, candidates and families must fulfill the following attendance requirements:

• Parent & Teen Orientation Meeting: Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30 PM

• Confirmation Classes: ALL candidates must attend every scheduled Confirmation class in the Youth Room at the Parish Center.

• Life Teen Attendance: Required Life Teen participation depends on the candidate's current school enrollment. Families may select the specific dates that best fit their schedule to meet these minimums:

  • Catholic School Students: Must attend at least 5 (out of 9) Life Teen Socials. Life Teen classes are not mandatory for these students.

  • Non-Catholic School Students (Public or Private): Must attend at least 4 (out of 6) Life Teen classes. Life Teen Socials are optional but highly encouraged.

• Required Documentation & Activities: Sponsor Eligibility Certificate, Patron Saint Name, Letter to the Pastor, Confirmation Retreat (Candidate & Sponsor/Parent), Clergy Interviews, Service Hours, and Confirmation Rehearsal.

In-person classes meet on Sundays from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM AND Wednesdays from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM on the specific dates listed below.

• November: 4th (Wed), 22nd (Sun)

• December: 9th (Wed), 20th (Sun)

• January: 13th (Wed), 24th (Sun)

• February: 21st (Sun), 24th (Wed)

• March: 7th (Sun), 10th (Wed)

• April: 14th (Wed), 25th (Sun)

• May: 5th (Wed), 23rd (Sun)
