Requirements for Sacramental Preparation:

• Sacraments: Candidates must have already received the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and First Eucharist.

• Age & Grade: Candidates must be in at least the 9th grade.

• Faith Formation: Candidates must have successfully completed 7th and 8th grade in a Catholic school, a Catholic homeschool program, or a parish Religious Education program prior to entering the Confirmation program.

Program Requirements & Itinerary:

This is a fully in-person program. To successfully complete the preparation, candidates and families must fulfill the following:

• Parent Orientation Meeting: Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30 PM (held during the first class).

• In-Person Classes: Candidates must attend the scheduled in-person classes in the Youth Room at the Parish Center.

• Life Teen: Confirmation candidates must attend ALL scheduled Life Teen events.

Required Documentation & Activities:

• Sponsor Eligibility Certificate

• Choosing a Patron Saint Name

• Letter to the Pastor

• Confirmation Retreat (Attended by Candidate and Sponsor or Parent)

• Clergy Interviews

• Service Hours

• Confirmation Rehearsal (Attended by Candidate and Sponsor or Parent)

In-person classes meet on Sundays from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM AND Wednesdays from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM on the specific dates listed below.
